Sookie's Supernatural Showcase

I can honestly say that Charlaine Harris's Living Dead in Dallas is not what I expected. Sookie's world started out with just vampires, and then she found out that Sam's a shapeshifter. In this book she meets even more shapeshifters (including some honest to goodness werewolves) and a maenad (I can't remember if that's how it's spelled) named Callisto, that is freaky beyond belief. Who knows what else she'll run into. Speaking of vampires, I went to the midnight premiere of Eclipse last night. Best of the movies so far! I loved, loved, loved it! I think they handled all the story elements very well and Riley actually scared the bejeezus out of me. It was so good that I really want to see it again. I don't know if I can convince my husband to do that though! So, my next book is Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick. It is not a vampire book. It is actually about fallen angels which is interesting. I've only read the first chapter, but so far, I really like it!!
